Our STORY

Croqueta Burger™ is brought to you by the same folks behind the critically acclaimed La Marcha Tapas Bar, located in the City of Berkeley. They are made of breaded patties inspired by the petit Spanish croqueta, each one gets all dressed up with a variety of fixings, nestled between a fresh Acme Bakery bun. With five signature flavors, there’s something for everyone! 

Our buns are baked daily by The Acme Bread Company. Not only are they committed to using the best locally sourced & organic ingredients, Acme also incorporates many environmentally friendly procedures and technology to their practices, like generating their own electricity at their Berkeley bakery and using “renewable diesel” delivery trucks. Their soft pain de mie buns are the perfect companion to our Croqueta Burgers. 

Our burger patties are made from freshly ground grass-fed Carman Ranch beef. Carman’s beef is an Angus-Hereford cross with a robust, beefy flavor. Free from all chemicals, the beef from Carman Ranch benefits from rich, volcanic soil, which makes the meat taste – as farmer Cory Carman describes it – “complex and multi-layered.” Enjoy this beef patty with “El Clásico” or add it to any other Croqueta Burger. 
 
Our Bacon comes from Baconer, a Bay Area family-owned business with the goal of making the best bacon possible. They use free range locally sourced pork, infused with fresh ingredients and smoked low-and-slow over applewood. The bacon is richly flavored and unfathomably tender, and we recommend adding it to all the Croqueta Burgers!
